What is the material of the enamel of the enameled wire

I. Synthetic resins

The main component of the enameled wire's lacquer is a synthetic resin, which is usually made using a mixture of three resins. These three resins are phenolic resins, phenolic alcohol resins and alkyd resins, where phenolic resins are hydrophobic and hard, alkyd resins are flexible, and phenolic alcohol resins are moderately flexible and hard, and the proportions of the three resins need to be adjusted as needed in the production of enameled wires.

II. Solvents

The solvent added to the enamel of enameled wire is usually linseed oil or fish oil, which is used to dilute and dissolve the resin so that it can be easily applied to the surface of the wire. The solvent is usually natural linseed oil or fish oil, which enables the lacquer to have good fluidity and coatability, as well as providing the enameled wire with a certain degree of corrosion resistance and durability.
